Henry Wetzel
Academic Fields: English language arts; elementary arithmetic-precalculus; IEC services.
Henry Wetzel holds ten years of experience in education as a summer camp owner, academic coach, writer, and researcher. After graduating with honors from the University of Rochester, he opened a private practice focused on holistic academic coaching. He works with a diverse range of students, from those who need support in a single math course to families under unique circumstances who want to ensure a positive academic journey for their child.
With the goal of providing a holistic approach, Henry maintains a rigorous study to ensure a continued expertise of the western literary canon, k-12 mathematics, and an understanding of contemporary approaches to education, both in the U.S. and internationally. He has been a speaker in attendance at symposiums, seminars, and classes to stay current in the field.

Sadie Wilson
Academic Fields: Grades 5-8 arithmetic, Pre-algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology.
Sadie Wilson is an undergraduate student preparing for medical school with a strong interest in mathematics and the sciences. She works primarily with middle and high school students, offering individualized support to help them feel more confident in their coursework. Her tutoring style is compassionate and student-led, creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Sadie focuses on building true understanding rather than memorization, helping concepts leave a lasting impression. She is especially mindful of students who feel stressed or discouraged by math or science. Her goal is to make learning feel approachable, empowering students to grow both academically and personally.

Emma Wetzel
Academic Fields: Grades 1-5 arithmetic, philosophy, English language arts.
Emma Wetzel is a University of Washington graduate with a B.A. in Philosophy, preparing to attend law school. She volunteers with PLATO (Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization) by working with Ballard High School’s Philosophy and Ethics Club. Here, she promotes thoughtful discussion and civil argumentation among students, preparing them for the Washington State High School Ethics Bowl. In athletics, she has worked as a tennis coach for all ages, between age 4 to 18. She has also worked as the GPHS JV tennis coach, prioritizing the personal development of her players as they balance academics and athletics. She currently works with elementary students on establishing foundational knowledge in language arts and math. Her tutoring style is encouraging, patient, and compassionate, aiming to provide an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions through their academic journey.

Ashley Weller
Academic Fields: Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Grades 5-12 standard courses, General Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry.
Ashley Weller is a Washington State University graduate with a B.S. in Chemistry and minors in Mathematics and Biology, and is preparing to attend medical school. During her time at WSU, she worked closely with the WSU Athletic Department, tutoring D1 student-athletes in upper-level coursework while helping them balance athletics, academics, and personal life.
Ashley’s tutoring highly individualized. She takes a goal-oriented and empathetic approach, working closely with all students to identify gaps in understanding, break down complex concepts, and build confidence through clear explanations and guided practice. She emphasizes conceptual understanding over memorization, empowering students to apply what
they learn across classes and exams. Ashley understands the challenges students face and strives to create a calm, encouraging environment where questions are welcomed and progress feels achievable.
